DESCRIPTION: \nArt is the highest form of self-expression. It is able to transform all of our movements\, thoughts and ideas\, into movements and culture. Through art we bring forward our thoughts\, emotions and also participate in bringing to light social and cultural awareness. Through dialogue\, we are able to share our art and learn not only why we are different but empathize with what makes us the same. \nSouth Asia has always been at the center of art culture. Throughout our history\, from textiles to paintings\, calligraphy and jewelry\, India’s rich history and people’s have cultivated one of the largest palates of culture in the world. A vast landscape of art\, style and culture that is distinctly unique from the last\, India is home to many masters. Today more than ever\, we feel these masters and their art culture\, belong in the global discourse. \nLike India\, Canada has rich and diverse art history. A canvas which originally housed Indigenous Canadian art and culture\, grew through it’s history to redefine what it is Canadian art. Today\, Canada boast’s one of the most diverse cultural canvases in the world. Creating a space for us all continuously expand that cultural canvas\, etching our styles and identity into it along the way. \nNAMsh – Splash Art Gallery a digital art gallery\, whose focus is to promote and elevate the discourse and understanding of South Asian art and culture in the global art space\, by collaborating directly with senior artists\, and galleries who share our vision and goals. \nLa Aartemisia Studio and Gallery is hosting a digital exhibition Titled\,CROSSING BORDERS.The exhibition’s focus is to create a cross-cultural dialogue by introducing each community to the unique and rich art styles that the artists and their work exemplify.From 22nd April to 7th May 2022.The show is Curated by Sanjukta Arun from India and Nain Amyn from Canada. \nArt is the highest form of self-expression. With excitement in my heart\, here I am with Season 2 of the same in 2022! \nWelcome to Season 2 of the mega online Art Exhibition as __ artists come together to showcase their creative energies on this unique platform under the banner of La Aartemisia Studio and Gallery\, As you all have been an integral part of my journey\, I\, Sanjukta Arun would like to thank each one of you for your support and goodwill. \nThis pandemic has undoubtedly compelled us to look inward and find our chi. Art has proliferated like never before and instead of looking back and taking inspiration\, people are just letting it flow. Life has changed for many and so has Art! Women\, in particular\, have rewired themselves to perform exceptionally well on all fronts. Their innate ability to create and weave things together has redefined their outlook and perception. New dimensions of thinking are being reflected in the works created during this period and as an artist and curator\, I feel it is an honour to bring them under an umbrella and celebrate this power in the best way we can! \nThis ne-of-a-kind online art exhibition “Celebrating the Spirit of Womanhood – Season 2” is an ode to women and aims at celebrating their huge contribution towards the upliftment of our society. The national and international artists participating in this online mega event are celebrities in their circles and have a totally unique style of their own. This exhibition will offer a new perspective and celebrate ‘Woman Power’ in all its glory. These strong and unconventional creative women will be harbingers of new ideas and love and will instill a sense of strength in each one of us on this International Women’s Day. \nWomen have skilfully endured everything and moved on like warriors keeping the energy factor high. Her heart and thoughts reflect in every aspect of her personality. The new-age woman can multitask\, take risks\, make the right choices and speak her mind out whenever needed. This massive development needs to be celebrated and every success story should result in inspirational leadership for the rest of the tribe. \nJust a quick bite for those who do not know Sanjukta yet! Sanjukta is an Eminent Artist herself who has been painting\, drawing\, and articulating her thoughts for over 28 years. Her canvas speaks of her depth of thought. As the curator of this wonderful project under the banner of La  Aartemisia\, she believes in constantly reinventing and bringing something new to the table. Tremendous response during Season 1  has compelled Sanjukta to take this journey ahead and here she is\, back with Season 2. \nThis show will act as an artistic confluence of _ eminent women artists who hail from different walks of life across the globe.  This amalgamation of ‘Art & Womanhood’ will reflect their individual styles and prove to be an inspiration for all those who wish to voice something through their artwork. DESCRIPTION: \nSamarpan in Sanskrit\, is the ability to surrender to the Divine\, while living in the present\, and being able to dissolve into the eternal space.Samarpan means to surrender in totality to the supreme power. It is so relatable to the artist\, as when he dons the role of the creator\, he surrenders his entire being to his Canvas\, Medium\, the form and the creation.He takes on a meditative state\, where in he moves away from the material world to a very holistic environment where only the artist and his creation exists in perfect synergy\, hence the Surrender or Samarpan is in totality.In our show SAMARPAN\,You will be able to witness and feel the energy of the paintings\, where the the six renowned fine artists of India\, have completely surrendered to the divine forces guiding them to create such exquisite artworks. DESCRIPTION:An Art Journey of Celebrated Professional women Artists from across the world\, come together under the banner of La Aartemisia\, an Art exhibition\, curated by Sanjukta Arun\, herself an Eminent \nArtist\, with over 27 yrs experience in the Art world. \nAs popular belief goes\, God took a lot time to create a woman and similarly the women have taken ample time to realize their inner potential and unearth the strength and talent that manifests in them. The metamorphosis that the ‘Women Tribe’ has undergone is massive and every single being has evolved into a shining diamond like no other. A long way has been traversed and there’s still a long way to go. A few women are still bound by the shackles of patriarchy\,  and behave as told and are expected to conform to the social norms\, rather bondages! \nIt is time for Women across the Globe\, to overcome this and express themselves positively. \nWomen have moved out to explore more challenging avenues and are taking the lesser known paths of self discovery. Women are creating a strong foothold in the creative sector and you can see them do so well as artists\, stand up comics\, spiritual healers\, entrepreneurs\, stylists\, authors etc. The innate ability to put one’s heart and soul into whatever she does is what sets a woman apart and she does it in style! It is time to celebrate their spirit and what better style to do it other than an artistic unison in form of an art exhibition being put together by  Celebrated women artists. Some of the artists are professionals and some hail from an Arts background. These creative souls have minds that are enriched and their works reflect their thoughts lucidly. This exhibition is an ode to women power and aims at celebrating the huge contribution women have made to complete the fabric of society. \nThis thoughtful project takes us through of how she receives this complete idea. Sanjukta is a self taught artist who has been painting\, drawing and articulating her thoughts and bring them to life on the canvas for almost over 27 years. A giver at heart\, her works are reflective of her life\, emotions\, wandering thoughts and a dreaming soul. Her vivacious persona stands out starkly though her choice of colors and bold strokes. She is at a point where art is a therapeutic experience leading to a more aware and invigorated self. Sanjukta feels that she still has a long way to go and grow. Collaborating with other artists is like an artistic journey for her as it gives an insight into how the others perceive life and what art means to them and are sure that their vision will be supported and celebrated by every single woman out there!
