Every year on November 14, India observes Children’s Day, a day dedicated to honouring the country’s children and promoting their welfare. History of Children’s Day The origins of Children’s Day in India are closely linked to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of the country. Known for his deep affection for children, Nehru was fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’ by them. His belief in the potential of children and his efforts to improve their welfare were significant aspects of his leadership. Following his death in 1964, it was decided that his birthday, November 14, would be celebrated as Children’s Day.

This year La Aartemisia Pvt Ltd collaborated with National Gallery of Modern Art ( NGMA) under the Ageis of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and Create Foundation, headed by Ms Raell Padamsee

Titled , TOTE- ALLY ARTISTISTIC
Where 80 students of BMC Schools of Maharashtra participated and painted Canvas Tote bags which will be a prized possession of these children. These bags were sponsored by La Aaartemisia Pvt Ltd. They were provided Art material & snacks by NGMA, Mumbai.
